The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon and Dorset and including Axminster Community Primary in East Devon. The school is located in the market town of Axminster in East Devon, close to the Blackdown Hills and the Jurassic Coast and has close transport links with the A35. Axminster Primary is an inclusive and nurturing community primary school for children aged 2-11 years. We offer a high-quality, engaging curriculum enhanced by a range of stimulating and enriching experiences.

This successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, adaptable and committed person who will assist in our after-school club in providing safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities for a range of children. The role includes supervising and supporting children in a range of inclusive activities carried out in a safe manner. You will also need to develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring needs.

The role is fixed term, part time and involves:

  • 8.75 hours per week, 5 afternoons per week,
  • 1.75 hours per day from 3.45 - 5.30 pm
  • term time only, 38 weeks per year
