What skills and experience we're looking for
Alphington Primary School is seeking to appoint two passionate and enthusiastic OPAL Play Rangers to join our primary school team. As an OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) Play Ranger, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and enriching our outdoor playtimes, ensuring they are inclusive, creative, and engaging for all children. You will be working as part of a team to promote a playful culture while supporting and inspiring children to explore and enjoy play in all weather conditions using the OPAL ethos.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a passion for outdoor play and learning.
Understands the importance of play in children's development and wellbeing.
Is creative, energetic, and able to think on their feet.
Can inspire and engage children through fun, imaginative, and purposeful activities.
Has strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents.
As a school we are committed to professional growth and although experience would be desirable, full training would be given to ensure you can fulfil your role.
