Before & After School Club Playworker job summary

At Delves Infant & Nursery, we are looking to appoint someone for our successful before and after school provision ‘Delves Den’.

We are looking to appoint a member of staff who is passionate about supporting the wellbeing of children and providing fulfilling experiences. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have proven experience of working with children and parents. We believe that it is our responsibility to ensure pupils have the best support both in and out of school and consider Delves Den to be an extension of our Outstanding Provision in School

We are looking for staff who would be able to work from 7.45am – 8.45am Monday – Friday.


The prospective candidates will be creative, hard-working, with excellent communication skills. They are also required to have:

Level 2 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare or equivalent.

Knowledge of the EYFS Welfare Guidance and Safeguarding procedures

Current paediatric first aid certificate or willingness to undertake this


The role will involve working under the direction of the club manager.
