We are looking for an After School Club Manager and also a Playworker for our new wrap-around provision for Sprowston Junior and Sprowston Infant pupils. This is an opportunity to lead a new provision and help shape the provision going forward. 

About the Role Purpose

  • To ensure the safety, general welfare and conduct of pupils during the After School Wraparound Club.
  • To lead this provision including setting up, planning of activities, liaising with the other After School Wraparound Club Staff and school staff to provide for a range of activities, prepare food, tidy away.
  • To work with the School Support Manager to develop effective systems for the start and end of the provision including managing pick up and drop off. 
  • To promote good behaviour, by organising, leading activities and teaching children how to play. This will include setting up team games, encouraging appropriate use of equipment and promoting fair play.

Hours of Work

  • 7.45am – 8.45am – Monday to Friday
  • 3pm – 5.45pm – Monday to Friday
