• Location: Hartsholme Academy, Lincoln
• Salary Scale: Scale 5, Points 12-17 (£28,598 - £31,022 FTE / £24,566 - £26,648 Actual)
• Contract Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week - Term time plus 5 days
• Reports to: Principal / SLT
• Closing Date: Friday 11th September 2026

As the Behaviour, Attendance and Wellbeing Lead, you will lead on student behaviour, punctuality, attendance, and wellbeing across the Academy. Serving as a nominated Designated Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), you will build strong working relationships with children, parents/carers, and external partners to ensure high standards of pastoral care and child protection.Key Responsibilities

• Behaviour & Pastoral Support: Implement the behaviour policy, maintain accurate incident records, and deliver targeted interventions to support academic and pastoral achievement.
• Attendance & Punctuality: Lead on driving up attendance, leading first-day responses, conducting home visits, and working directly with families and Pupil Premium groups to close attainment gaps.
• Safeguarding & Child Protection: Act as a nominated DDSL, maintain confidential records, complete assessments, coordinate multi-agency referrals, and help deliver safeguarding training.
• Multi-Agency & External Partnerships: Act as Lead Professional in multi-agency meetings, liaising with Children’s Services, Family Hubs, and Early Help to support vulnerable children and families.
• Data & Reporting: Collate and present statistical data and reports for the Senior Leadership Team and Pastoral Spotlight meetings to ensure robust monitoring of at-risk groups.

The Person: What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking an experienced practitioner who is organised, approachable, and deeply committed to improving outcomes for children.Essential Requirements:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths, alongside evidence of ongoing CPD.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain) and strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
• Proven experience working with children, families, and multi-agency networks
• Ability to handle complex cases, carry out high-quality risk assessments, and keep precise records with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A deep commitment to safeguarding and Harbour Learning Trust's DANCE values.

Desirable Requirements:

• First degree or NVQ Level 4 in social work, teaching, counselling, psychology, youth work, or a related field.
• Experience using social work or counselling approaches with parents and children.
