Behaviour for Learning Support Assistant job summary

East Leake Academy would like to appoint a Behaviour for Learning Support Assistant to carry out a range of learning development, student welfare and administrative tasks to support students and teaching staff in the Academy and within the community. We would welcome applications from Teaching Assistants with behavioural experience or candidates with a strong administrative background who are looking to diversify their skillset by engaging with young people.  

Job title:                     Behaviour for Learning Support Assistant

Status:                        Permanent

Salary:                        Grade 3, actual salary £8,337 (full time salary £18,065)

Working hours:         20 hours per week, (days of work negotiable), term time only 

Interviews:                 Commencing from Thursday 17 October 2019 on a rolling basis until the position is                                      filled

The role is a blend of carrying out vital business administrative tasks that will provide data analysis to inform key decision making, therefore the ability to work with attention to detail and accuracy is paramount. The other aspect of this role is interacting with our students and provides a great opportunity for the right candidate, to use their engaging interpersonal skills in areas of the academy, such as our learning resource centre by supporting student literacy and reading development within the academy.
