  • Experience of working with Behavioural, Emotional & Social Difficulties
  • Experience and knowledge of issues affecting pupils and young people and how to offer supportive assistance
  • Good understanding and up to date training in the safeguarding of young people
  • An understanding of the barriers to learning facing young people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

St Hild's Church of England School is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Inclusion Support (BIS) Manager to coordinate effective provision for pupils accessing support due to behavioural needs, internal exclusion, or reintegration following suspension. As a member of the wider leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the emotional health and well-being of our students are supported while helping them overcome barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the BIS, inspiring pupils, staff, and the wider community.
  • Plan and oversee tailored programs that develop students' emotional literacy and social skills.
  • Record and analyse behaviour and attendance data to ensure timely and effective interventions.
  • Act as a key point of contact for parents, carers, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Deliver whole-school training to enhance behaviour inclusion support across school.
