At Gloucester Academy, part of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, we are seeking a passionate and proactive Behaviour Intervention Lead to join our team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a supportive, forward-thinking environment where collaboration and purpose drive everything we do.
About the role:The Behaviour Intervention Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting some of our most vulnerable and hardest-to-reach students. You will coordinate and deliver targeted interventions, lead an onsite provision, and ensure students are able to re-engage successfully with full-time education. Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams, external agencies, and families, you will help create a structured, supportive environment that promotes positive behaviour, engagement, and academic progress. This role is central to our mission of ensuring every student can succeed and thrive within a disruption-free learning environment.
You will bring:The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience in behaviour or pastoral support and a proven ability to engage and inspire young people. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and resilience, and a strong understanding of strategies that improve student outcomes. A collaborative mindset, commitment to safeguarding, and alignment with our values of ambition, excellence and pride are essential.
