Behaviour Manager job summary

The Behaviour Manager plays a central role in shaping the culture, climate and daily experience of students across Bishop Milner Catholic College. You will lead on promoting high standards of conduct and engagement, working closely with senior leaders, pastoral staff and teaching teams to ensure every student feels supported, safe and ready to learn.

At the heart of the role is the ability to build strong, respectful relationships with young people while maintaining clear expectations and consistent routines. You will oversee behaviour systems, respond to incidents, analyse behaviour data and implement targeted interventions that help students make positive choices.

This is a role for someone who thrives on being visible, proactive and solution‑focused. You’ll be a key presence around the college, supporting staff in managing behaviour, guiding students through challenges, and contributing to a calm, purposeful environment rooted in the school’s Catholic ethos.
