Behaviour Manager job summary

We are looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager, initially on a fixed one year contract. The role is 37 hour per week, 39 weeks per year. The role provides an essential aspect of our Inclusion process. You will work as part of a team in student support to ensure students have access to support throughout the school day. Assisting in managing the system of behaviour escalations, reporting mechanisms, detentions and exclusion processes and paperwork. Working alongside year co-ordinators, the SENDCO and external agencies to develop interventions for students whose behaviour is a barrier to learning and success at school.

Ideally you will have experience of empathising with students or young people who are experiencing difficulties academically, behaviourally or socially. you will have an understanding of the academic and social demands on young people. The ability to remain calm at all times is essential.
