We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic, reliable and responsible Behaviour Manager to join our team-oriented school graded as ‘Good’ in all categories (Ofsted June 2018) for 37 hours per week, Term Time only .
The successful applicant will be able to work in a busy environment, self-motivated, have excellent communications skills, possess the ability to remain calm in difficult situations and have a clear and consistent approach to dealing with young people. Working in line with School policies and procedures relating to Child Protection you will assist with steps to ensure student’s issues are successfully resolved. You must be able to establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and be committed to securing high standards of behaviour and discipline which will increase academic attainment.
The role involves providing immediate support for behavioural incidents, supporting and supervising students who have been temporarily removed from lessons in the school and placed in the internal exclusion room.
Previous experience of working within this environment is desirable but is not essential as full training and support will be given.
