About this role

Job Purpose

To work with the Behaviour Service Support Manager as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning and behaviour management for SEN pupils on a 1:1 / small group basis.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monitor pupils' conduct and behaviour and intervene to resolve complex, difficult or very challenging issues
  • Supervise individuals and groups of pupils throughout the day, including supervision in the classroom, playground and dining areas
  • Work with pupils not working to normal timetable
  • Escort and supervise pupils on educational and out of school activities
  • Be resilient and have strong behavioural management skills
  • Be willing to undertake and deliver Safety Intervention Training
  • Work as part of a committed and friendly team.
