What skills and experience we're looking for

Contract: 2 year FTC

We are actively seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Alternative Provision Team.

The role:

Working under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals/groups which could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, including behaviour support

To provide specialist support for students identified as needing behaviour support and have additional educational needs

To provide in class support for all students as directed by the Assistant Principal – Alternative Provision

We are looking for someone who:

Has the ability to build strong positive relationships with studentsresilient and has experience in providing educational support with strong discipline

Has enthusiasm, presence and authority with a positive, can-do attitude

Is highly organised, motivated and driven to succeed

Is able to support students who exhibit challenging behaviour

Is a team member who will collaborate with colleagues to ensure feedback regarding students is consistent and constructive
