Breakfast & After School Club Wrap Around Care Assistant job summary

Freeland CE Primary School are looking for a Wraparound Assistant for our new Breakfast and

After School club

Role: Wraparound Assistant needed

Part time/temporary in the first instance until August 2025 – 3.75 hours per week (Tuesday,

Wednesday, Thursday)

After School Club 15.15-16:30

Salary

Grade 4, Point 4 (£12.68 per hour/term time only + holiday pay)

Start date: January 7th 2025

Additional Lunchtime Supervisor hours and/or Breakfast club hours are available if

required (12.00-1.00pm/7.15-8.45am)

We are looking to appoint an individual who can support us in delivering a caring and nurturing

environment for all children as we open our After School club after Christmas. We see children as

individuals, and care for them accordingly: this might involve, playing games, doing crafts, activities

outside, reading or watching films. We have a relaxed atmosphere as well as adopting the same

behaviour and conduct expectations in line with the rest of school.

Role to start in January 2025

The successful candidate will:

Be friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner.

Be able to show discretion and respect confidentiality.

Be positive in their approach as we continue to grow our provision

Experience working in a school setting and/or with children is desirable but not essential.
