Breakfast Club Assistant job summary

Buckton Fields Primary School is a new two-form entry school which opened in September 2021 and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breakfast Club provision. We are looking for a warm, friendly and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to support the day to day running of this wrap around care which provides a safe and enjoyable start to the children’s school day. We are looking for a team player who is able to welcome our children every morning with a smile. The successful applicant will be:

Flexible, motivated and energetic
Possess good communication skills and keen to work as part of a team
Committed to high standards
Interested in healthy eating and willing to undertake First Aid and Food Hygiene Training
Able to set up fun and creative activities to keep children engaged
Recognise the importance of play and relaxation opportunities
Understand the varied needs of primary aged children
