Breakfast Club Assistant job summary

Harnham Infant School requires a breakfast club assistant to join our team. The working hours will be Monday to Friday 7.30am to 9.00am, term time only.

We are looking for somebody who:

  • Can ensure the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times by assisting the club leader.
  • Can stimulate, encourage and develop children’s play in a positive way.
  • Can foster children’s language development and social skills.
  • Can attend to the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children.
  • Can prepare / serve breakfast or snacks as necessary.
  • Will support the club leader in all aspects of the running of the club.
  • Is committed to personal professional development.
  • Is positive, fun, kind and patient, with a sense of humour.
