Breakfast Club Assistant – Internal Vacancy
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to recruit a permanent, part-time Breakfast Club Assistant, based at Princecroft Primary School.
Hours:
5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 8.30am, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days)
Salary range:
B2, £23,656 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £2679 per annum).
Start date: 1st September 2025

Role overview:
We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible Breakfast Club Assistant, to undertake the care of individuals or groups of children and support their learning and development before school.
Main Duties:
To ensure that the health and safety needs of each individual child are met at all times
To stimulate, encourage and develop children’s play in a positive way
To foster children’s language development and social skills through sustained shared thinking and the use of open-ended questioning.
Attend to the personal, social and emotional needs of individual children
To support the club leader in all aspects of the running of the club.
To assist with food preparation – a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate will be required or training will need to be undertaken
