Waltham Gateway Academy opened in September 2025 for 34 pupils and will eventually provide for up to 210 mainstream pupils, from Reception to Year 6.

The Academy also includes an RSP, which will cater for up to 12 children from across North East Lincolnshire who have identified Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

We are looking for someone to join our new and exciting team of leaders, teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring our new children receive a fantastic all-round education.

This specific role will be leading the Wraparound Care morning provision, running our Breakfast Club provision which runs from 7.30am to 8.45am, Monday to Friday. The role is for 1.5 each day with successful candidate arriving at 7.15am to ensure activities and food is ready for the children’s arrival at 7.30am. Children are provided with a breakfast and then have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities.

Job Overview

To be responsible for overseeing the wraparound care provision at Waltham Gateway Academy or Scartho Gateway Academy.

Wraparound care will consist of a breakfast club in the morning, where children can attend from 7.30am to 8.45am and after school provision, where children can attend from 3.30pm to 6.00pm. Children will be provided with a breakfast in the morning and light snacks in the afternoon. Both sessions will provide children with a wide range of different, engaging activities.

There are opportunities for the successful candidate to lead across both morning and afternoon wraparound care, which would be preferable. However, there may also be opportunities to lead either the morning or afternoon sessions. This would be discussed at interview but please indicate in your application.

The role will start in March 2026.

A full package of on-going CPD is in place to support our staff team as part of the whole school approach. This will include regular supervision.
