We currently have 1 position available for our Breakfast Club and 1 position available for our After-School Club (JOB-146267) provision. Applicants are welcome to apply for either or both roles, please specify clearly on your application form which roles you are applying for.
We are looking for somebody that can start as soon as possible after all checks have been carried out. You will need to be an enthusiastic and committed person, with a calm and caring manner who enjoys working with children. We value every child at our school and our aim is to ensure a happy and calming start and end to the school day.
Your role will be to work as a team of two, to run our wraparound provision. Duties will involve preparing and serving refreshments, supervising the children whilst promoting positive play, through planned and ad-hoc activities. You will be required to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, and promote positive behaviour and independence.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to the role
- Has experience working with children
- Has a kind and consistent approach when supporting children to do their best
- Uses positive behaviour strategies and will follow our behaviour policy
- Hardworking and able to work with initiative
