Job title: Breakfast Club Supervisor

Location: Gusford Primary School

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: ALT Grade D, £2,868.54-£2,936.68 annually (actual)

This is an exciting opportunity to support children in our new Breakfast Club provision! The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about welcoming children into school and helping them prepare for the best start to their day.

Gusford Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Breakfast Club Supervisor to join our dedicated team.

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming start to the day for pupils attending our breakfast club.

  • Support children’s pastoral and social development through positive relationships.

  • Supervise food provision and breakfast routines.

  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Ensure a safe and engaging environment, indoors and outdoors.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting.

  • Can confidently manage behaviour and support children’s emotional and social wellbeing.

  • Is calm, caring, and approachable with strong communication skills.

  • Understands safeguarding, health and safety, and school procedures.

  • Holds or is willing to work towards a Food Hygiene Certificate and basic first aid training.
