Breakfast Club Supervisor job summary

Hours: 5 hours per week (7:45-8:45am)

Contract Type: Fixed Term (end date 31/08/2027)

Key Tasks:

    Build supportive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them start the day positively.

      Prepare, serve, and clear away breakfast foods in line with food hygiene and safety standards.

      Ensure the dining area is clean, tidy, and safe at all times.

      Hold a valid Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to undertake CPD training.

      Greet pupils on arrival and ensure they enter the breakfast club safely and calmly.

      Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, and good table manners.

      Supervise pupils while they eat and engage in morning activities.

      About You:

      Ability to build positive relationships with children.

      Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

      Awareness of safeguarding principles.

      Willingness to undertake training (e.g., food hygiene, safeguarding).
