Building Officer job summary
Byron Wood Academy are seeking an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Buildings Officer to join our team. This role is crucial to ensure the smooth running of the school.
As Building Officer, you will liaise closely and support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team in ensuring the efficient and effective day to day running, presentation and management of the school, ensuring a warm, clean, safe and secure environment for all authorised users of the site.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has experience in premises or trade work
- Has high standards, and a willingness to learn and to undertake training
- Is organised, uses their own initiative and works well as part of a team
- Passionately believes that all children can achieve, no matter what their starting point, background or needs
- Understands the importance of providing a safe learning environment
- Is proactive and approaches challenges pragmatically to ensure the best outcome for students and the wider academy team.
