Building Services Manager job summary
Thank you for your interest in this post. We are looking for a Building Services Manager to join our dedicated and hard-working federated site team. This position will be based at Cherry Oak School. This is a permanent full time position.
The successful candidate will be a committed, reliable and self-motivated person, who is able to form positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. As the Building Services Manager you will work closely with all members of our skilled site team and share responsibility for the security, safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the estate ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our whole community.

able to demonstrate some practical skills to be able to undertake a range of general grounds and property maintenance issues
the ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a wider team
Please note that responsibility for key holding is a requirement of the position. On occasion it may be necessary to support site staff in the other settings of the federation but this will be within existing work patterns.

Cherry Oak School is a primary school for children with special education needs (SEN). All pupils have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school has specialist provision for children with severe cognition and learning difficulties and those with Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties. Approximately half of the pupils are diagnosed as being on the Autism Spectrum. With capacity for 110 pupils, Cherry Oak School caters for pupils from Birmingham and beyond.
