This is an exciting opportunity to join the Nightingale Federation as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and to contribute to the continuous improvement of two DNEAT academies.
Working primarily at Thomas Bullock Church of England Primary and Nursery Academy, the Federation School Business Manager will:
- Complete school budget preparation
- Provide HR support
- Generate income through grant applications and other sources (a key Federation priority)
- Be responsible for managing Nursery and Wraparound Care funding and income
- Complete office administration at Thomas Bullock
The post holder will also be required to work flexibly across the Federation, sometimes being based at Lyng Church of England Primary Academy.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience maintaining financial information systems and making payments
- Experience in financial management, including strategic planning, budgets and reporting
- Some experience supporting with HR, payroll and/or health & safety matters
- Experience within the education sector is a desirable criterion
A full induction will be completed with the successful candidate, including training on the academy and trust systems, e.g. payroll, finance and recruitment programmes.
The role will be term time, plus one week, encompassing 5 inset days across the academic year.
