Joseph Leckie Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Business Manager to play a pivotal strategic role in the continued development of our highly inclusive and ambitious school.

The Role

As Business Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management across all non-teaching functions of the academy.

You will play a key role in ensuring that the academy continues to deliver an outstanding educational experience within a safe, efficient and well-managed environment.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Leadership of finance, HR, estates, administration, ICT and compliance functions.
  • Ensuring robust financial management and value for money across all operations.
  • Overseeing health & safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing the academy site to ensure a safe, secure and inspiring environment.
  • Supporting the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and Governors with strategic reporting and decision-making.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, families and the wider community.
