The St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Services Officer to play a vital role in the success of our academies. If you are an organised professional with a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you!

As our Business Services Officer, you will work closely with the Business Services Director to ensure our Multi-Academy Trust is compliant with regulations, operates efficiently, and delivers exceptional standards in estates management and health & safety, As you will be travelling between sites a valid driving licence will be required.

What you will do:

  • Implement and manage facilities systems like ‘EVERY,’ working with premises staff across the Trust.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance schedules, and service contracts to ensure high standards and cost-effectiveness.
  • Champion compliance with DfE, Ofsted, HSE, and other regulations, preparing detailed reports for leadership.
  • Promote a culture of safety, assisting the Director of Business Services in conducting regular health and safety audits and training.
  • Support financial administration, including budgets and invoice processing.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in senior-level administration or support.
  • Strong IT, planning, and organisational skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Level 3 qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
