Our teachers are enthusiastic and motivated and understand the value and richness of their subjects.
We currently teach Business, Economics and Law across a range of Level 2 and Level 3 courses at KS4 and KS5. We provide both vocational and academic pathways. We need a dedicated professional to lead both curriculum areas into a cohesive department to create a vibrant, engaging curriculum provision. These subjects are very popular at Caterham High School.
We value leadership for all and thus ensure that Middle Leaders have opportunities to grow and develop a successful career through a range of CPD and as active participants of the Seven Kings Teaching School Alliance.
We are justifiably proud of ourGood Ofsted judgement (June 2022), which recognised our positive learning environment and caring community. As a community school in East London, we celebrate diversity and rigorously promote equality and inclusion. We believe every student should feel valued,supportedand challenged. We have two Alternative Resource Provisions - one for Deaf children and one for children with Autism - as well as inclusive Curriculum Pathways that enable access and support strong academic achievement.
Our most recent inspection noted that students “conduct themselves in a calm and orderly manner around school and behave well in lessons.” Our students are polite, friendly and benefit from excellent relationships with staff.

What the school offers its staff
