We are looking for a Careers Administrator who can play a key role in supporting our pupils by organising careers events, maintaining records, and assisting with post-16 applications.

This role is a great opportunity to use your organisational and communication skills while directly supporting pupils as they prepare for their future.

What will you do?

  • Provide administrative support to the school’s careers programme, including scheduling 1:1 sessions, coordinating guest speakers, and assisting with careers events.
  • Support pupils during careers activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
  • Assist with the administration of work experience placements, post-16 applications, and related financial processes.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, using systems such as PS-16, and carry out routine clerical and ICT tasks.
  • Comply with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies while contributing to the wider ethos and aims of the school.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of general clerical /administrative work
  • Evidence of the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • Effective use of ICT packages and keyboard skills
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
