Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to support our Careers Service. You will be working closely with our Careers Lead. You will undertake a wide range of careers' related admin tasks. Please see the Careers administer pack for details.
Careers in school is vital in helping young people make informed decisions about their future. Whether pupils are choosing GCSEs, A-levels, apprenticeships, or further education pathways, they need access to clear, impartial careers advice. The choices they make today can open doors to future opportunities, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and qualifications that form the foundations of their ideal career. By supporting students to understand their options and aspirations, our careers department plays a crucial role in preparing them for successful and fulfilling futures.
What you will need to succeed:
- Good communication skills
- Computer skills
- Clerical or administrative experience
- Literacy & numeracy qualification e.g. Level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE 4/C or above)
Knowledge of careers/industry and/or working in a school is not essential but may be an advantage.
