Careers Advisor, Coordinator and Learning Resource Manager job summary
With the responsibility for leading the development of the careers across the school, including giving advice to students, especially in year 11, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the efficient and effective process of Careers across the Academy as well as managing the Learning Resource Base (Library).
This is a permanent , full time position working during the term time only.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and delivering a comprehensive, impartial careers programme for Years 7-11, supporting informed progression and reducing NEET risk.
- Building and maintaining strong partnerships with employers, colleges, training providers, and HE institutions.
- Providing personalised careers guidance through 1:1 interviews, assemblies, events, and parental engagement.
- Managing, developing, and evaluating the school library as a high-quality learning resource that promotes literacy and inclusion.
- Overseeing systems, data, budgets, and reporting to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with statutory and OFSTED guidance.
