Careers Coordinator

Pay Range: LGS Scale 7 (Pts 19-24)
Contract: Term-time only
Hours: 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am to 3:30pm
Start Date: Easter 2026


We are seeking an outstanding and dedicated Careers Coordinator to provide high quality careers advice to our students and coordinate careers events across the school.

About the role

Led by one of our Assistant Headteachers, our careers provision has grown and developed substantially in recent years, enabling us to consistently meet the statutory requirements of the Gatsby benchmarks. This role will help to continue to meet these requirements, including but not limited to:

coordinating and delivering one to one student careers interviews
organising and attending careers events
the administration of the school's work experience provision
keeping up to date with labour market information, legislation, qualifications and training provider
liaising with local employers, training providers and other external organisations
