Careers Coordinator
Grade 6 (SCP 11–19) - 37 hours per week
Term time plus 5 INSET days + 5 additional days
Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young people plan their futures? Do you enjoy building positive relationships, coordinating events, and keeping systems running smoothly? Are you a confident communicator who thrives in a busy school environment? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Lytham St Annes High School (LSA) is seeking a dedicated Careers Coordinator to support our whole‑school careers programme and ensure every student has access to high‑quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG). You will play a key role in delivering the Gatsby Benchmarks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students as they explore their next steps.
This role is varied, rewarding, and central to helping students feel informed, supported, and confident about their future pathways. The nature of the role may mean there will be the need to work additional hours outside of the normal working hours, for example early mornings or after school. These will be discussed and agreed with the post holder ahead of time.
What the role involves
This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same — and where your organisation, communication and care for students will make a real difference.
If helping students find their path sounds like your calling, then apply now.
Closing date: 16th July 2026 8am
Interviews: 21st July 2026
