Challney High School for Girls is an outstanding, world-class, and inclusive school with a vision to develop influential women of the future.
Careers education is a real strength at our school, recently recognised as exemplary by Ofsted, and we are seeking to appoint a highly organised, driven and efficient individual to plan and co-ordinate the school’s careers information, advice and education guidance service across KS3 and KS4. The responsibilities will include the management of the careers provision, for example, work experience, individual careers guidance and co-ordinating careers events, as well as liaising with students and internal/external stakeholders to ensure that careers education is woven into the fabric of the school.
This post will appeal to someone who holds exceptionally high standards and is committed to helping our students plan and prepare for their futures
Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice fluently in spoken English.
Your active contribution will directly support high-quality learning and teaching, positively impacting pupil attainment, achievement, and the overall school experience while upholding the school's ethos, aims, and vision.
We have an excellent CPD programme within a highly supportive working environment. Full training, support, and induction will be provided.
