Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in a young person's life? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to provide specialist support to a student, helping them to thrive both academically and socially within a mainstream school environment.
About you…
You will be a caring, patient, and resilient individual who is committed to supporting young people to achieve their full potential. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an empathetic approach, and a genuine desire to promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. Experience in supporting children or young people with additional needs is desirable, and you will be comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility support, and therapeutic programmes whilst maintaining the highest standards of dignity, confidentiality, and safeguarding.

Your role…
As a Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting a student to access all aspects of school life. Working closely with the SENDCo, Lead Communication Partner, teaching staff, parents, and external professionals, you will provide communication, personal care, mobility, and emotional support throughout the school day. You will help implement EHCP outcomes, facilitate the use of specialist communication tools, support physiotherapy and personal care programmes, and encourage the student's independence, social inclusion, and emotional wellbeing. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to have a direct and lasting impact on a young person's educational journey and quality of life.
