Caretaker job summary
Required as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ashburton Primary School. We are looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Caretaker starting as soon as possible.
As our Caretaker you will play a key role in the running of our school. Be it providing security for the site, site maintenance, cleaning or other directed tasks you will be a valuable member of our team. This is a varied role, which will cover site security, maintenance and upkeep of facilities, waste management, compliance, as well as additional duties as directed by the Headteacher, all while adhering to good health and safety practices. You will work with the wider Trust maintenance team to ensure the school remains in excellent condition and safe both for the pupils as a learning environment and for our staff to work in.
An aptitude and enjoyment of practical work is at the core of this position. IT literacy is also required for compliance and record keeping.
