We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth running of our school environment across our federation, ensuring that our children and staff can focus on learning and development in a safe and welcoming space.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a key holder for the school premises

Conduct daily and weekly safety checks, including fire alarm testing

Manage cleaning stock control to ensure supplies are always available

Undertake minor repairs around the school site promptly and efficiently

Liaise and coordinate with contractors as required

Be responsible for a specific area of the ILF Premises, as appropriate.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in caretaking, site maintenance, or a similar role

Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks confidently

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for daily checks and stock control

Reliable and trustworthy, able to act responsibly as a key holder
