We are looking for a reliable, proactive and friendly Caretaker (Level 2) to join our small, caring team at Newbrough C of E Primary School. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a vital role in the life of our school community.

The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring our school site is safe, clean, and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. The role involves a range of duties including routine maintenance, site security, health and safety checks, basic repairs, and liaising with contractors as needed. A practical, hands-on approach and a good sense of initiative are key.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Is trustworthy, enthusiastic and takes pride in their work

  • Has basic DIY and maintenance skills

  • Understands health and safety procedures or is willing to undertake training

  • Can work flexibly and respond to the needs of the school
