What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and practical individual who will take pride in maintaining our beautiful school site and ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors.

The role will include:

  • Keyholder responsibilities and site security
  • Day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
  • Carrying out routine health and safety checks (e.g. alarms, lighting, legionella)
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and school policies
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting a strong culture of safety
  • General porterage and stock control

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and takes pride in their work
  • Has good practical/DIY skills and a proactive approach
  • Has (or is willing to develop) a strong understanding of health and safety
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Has a friendly, caring nature and enjoys being part of a school community

Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
