What skills and experience we're looking for

Understanding and be able to deliver all aspects of site caretaking as outlined in the job description.

Ability to relate well to and respect pupils / students and act as a role model at all times.

The ability to work within recognised procedures and respond to unexpected problems and situations.

Be able to evidence the following to a high standard: Communication skills, organisational skills, specific skills related to the tasks outlined in the Job Description and IT skills.

Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion applying data protection and data sensitivity principles at all times.

Working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation relating to Facilities and in particular to Health and Safety.

Further details about the role

The postholder will be based at Oakwood High School but may be required to work at any Trust school/college as required. Some flexible working may be required to support Trust events and support requirements.
