Caretaker job summary
King’s Leadership Academy Warrington is seeking a dedicated and proactive School Caretaker to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led, high-performing school that’s transforming lives through education.

- Taking receipt of all deliveries.
- Carrying out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs.
- Some supervision of school cleaning staff.
- Promoting health and safety around the school.
- A strong, supportive community with clear values: Achievement, Aspiration, Self-awareness, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Endeavour (ASPIRE)
- A role that supports student learning and wellbeing by providing a safe, clean space
- Respectful and friendly working culture with opportunities to grow within the trust
- Family-friendly policies and staff wellbeing initiatives
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of cleanliness
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a facilities role is an advantage, but not essential
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Alternate shifts - 6am to 2pm / 12pm to 8pm
- Alternate Saturdays (mainly 8am to 2pm)
