Caretaker job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join Manor Primary School and Westcountry Schools Trust. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. Built on an extensive track record of excellence, the Trust combines a range of education provision based in a variety of sites across Devon and Cornwall.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and committed person to provide the appropriate level of custodial service and maintenance throughout the premises.

  • To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, security of the premises and the contents.
  • To complete minor maintenance tasks, participating in alterations, repairs and improvements as directed by the Headteacher.
  • Arranging access to the site/building for contractors and lettings, frequently outside school hours.
  • To supervise the team of cleaners and maintain the cleaning of the premises to the standard required.
  • To complete paperwork as required and attend training as requested
  • Maintain Parago Asset Management system
