Caretaker job summary

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who has:

High levels of personal responsibility to ensure the security of the site and buildings

Experience in maintenance to ensure the schools fixtures and fittings are kept in accordance with statutory requirements, and other roles such as specialist cleaning and minor decorating

Basic IT systems skills to record statutory checks and tests and online training

Excellent communication and organisation skills to enable professional working with school staff, contractors and visitors to ensure the smooth day to day running of the site.

This post would suit a candidate who likes working independently and gains satisfaction from knowing they have enabled a well-managed, clean and safe environment within which children can thrive.
