We are looking to appoint a Caretaker to join our successful team, based at Spixworth Infant and Woodland View Junior Schools. You will work across the two schools, providing high quality support to the schools as a whole, ensuring safe, accessible and welcoming sites for all. The position is available for a September start date. Hours of work, 6.30-8am and 3.30-6.30pm with some flexibility for managing alternative letting arrangements.
Key skills required are:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of premise management or a willingness to train in these areas.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, leading a small team of cleaners
- An ability to safely complete maintenance and basic repairs
- Good organisational skills
- An ability to communicate effectively with other staff and contractors
- Able to work at the beginning and the end of the school day and some unsociable hours
- Will care for our school environment and the health and safety of everyone within it

Previous experience of caretaking/cleaning in a school or similar environment would be an advantage but training will be provided.
