Hours of work, 6.30-8am and 3.30-6.30pm with some flexibility for managing alternative letting arrangements.

Key skills required are:

  • A positive, can-do attitude

  • An ability to safely complete maintenance and basic repairs
  • Good organisational skills
  • An ability to communicate effectively with other staff and contractors
  • Able to work at the beginning and the end of the school day and some unsociable hours
  • Will care for our school environment and the health and safety of everyone within it

We can offer:

  • Beautiful school sites
  • Approachable, caring staff, who work as a whole team
  • Children and families that respect our schools
  • Training and certification in all relevant areas
  • Regular reviews and support from leaders

Previous experience of caretaking/cleaning in a school or similar environment would be an advantage but training will be provided.
