What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you someone who is reliable, proactive, hardworking and flexible with a positive outlook on life? Have you got good organisational skills – with the ability to plan, schedule and evaluate your own work? Do you take a genuine pride in your place of work- have you got DIY skills and the ability to competently carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating? Will you be able to demonstrate good inter-personal skills with all members of our school community – children, parents/carers, colleagues, governors and the many visitors that come to St Catherine’s? Do you enjoy learning new skills and keeping up to date with procedures? We will need you to be jointly responsible for Health and Safety on site, and that includes security and maintenance systems. Are you able to use a PC and navigate school maintenance systems such as Statlog? Are you committed to being fully involved in all aspects of school life at St Catherine’s – upholding our Catholic ethos and values on a day to day basis and at special weekend and evening events too? Further details about the role
Hours: 36 hrs p/w, 52 weeks per year
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 12.30 (break 10.00 to 10.30)
and then 16.00 to 18.15
Further ad-hoc overtime hours will be necessary for occasional evening meetings and PTA events at the school.
