Caretaker job summary
Thames View Primary School seeks to appoint a Caretaker, to start from September 2025.
The successful candidate will be a dependable and dedicated individual to join the Premises team as a morning opening shift Caretaker. This important role involves opening the school premises each day and carrying out a thorough walk-around to ensure the site is safe, secure, and ready to welcome staff and pupils. There may also be occasional light caretaking tasks required during this time.
This is a part time, permanent role, Term Time Only, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (calculated on a pro rata basis £1,378 - £1,540 - FTE £24,404 - £27,269).
The working pattern will consist of 2.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 6:45-7:15 am. This position is only required during the school's Term Time.
