Caretaker job summary
The Rowans AP Academy is seeking to appoint a highly effective Caretaker, to start with immediate effect.
By joining our team, you will assist with the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning of our school site. You will need to manage a heavy workload and have a friendly and approachable disposition. The role is hands-on and jobs will include meeting tradesmen, distributing deliveries, setting out rooms for exams and school events, DIY, clearing bins and litter.
This is a part time (30 hours per week), permanent role, all year round, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 points 4-11 (FTE £24,404 - £27,269 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis).
The working pattern for this position will consist of Monday-Friday 11:00 - 17:30, with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.
