The role:
The Manor Academy are looking for a Casual Minibus Driver to join our student transport team.
The role will include driving one of the school’s minibuses, transporting students to:
- Adhere to collection times at the school to start the day and return students after school.
- Sporting fixtures after school hours.
- Curriculum related trips.
- Visits during and after school hours.
- Taking students between other educational sites during academy hours.
- Collecting and returning students who attend the school before and after school times.
You will also be required to supervise the safety of students during visits whilst you are not driving.
There will also be opportunity to undertake some Exam Invigilation work on a casual basis if this is of interest.
The person:
The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence including category D1 or D. You should also be willing to undertake further driver safety training prior to starting. The post would be ideally suited to an applicant who has a sense of responsibility for today’s young people and who is able to work flexible hours.
