Casual Minibus Driver job summary

We require enthusiastic Minibus Drivers, to join our team of drivers, to work with children who have severe learning difficulties. This role includes working with our children and young people during term time, driving the minibus to various community based locations.

You must have a D1 qualification on your driving licence and be willing to undertake an HCC Minibus test if required.

Work hours are variable through the week, term-time only and paid on an hourly basis.

Previous experience with special needs children would be an advantage but not essential.

We are looking to appoint a Mini Bus Driver to join our team of drivers.

Watling View is a Good School (Ofsted, 2025), catering for the needs of children and young people with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties (2 to19 years in age). A significant number of our pupils have autism and one in five has Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. We aim to develop and enhance the potential of our pupils through an ethos and philosophy which emphasises that we are all of equal value as members of an interdependent supportive community.
