Casual Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our team on a casual basis to cover planned staff absence and sickness. Working when required across the school and / or pre-school as part of our teaching team. This would be supporting individuals or groups of pupils inside the classroom environment. This position would suit a positive, and flexible team-player who has some experience of working with children.
Responsibilities include:
- supporting children's learning and welfare - , including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters
- Support with the implementation of Individual Education or Behaviour Plans
- Encourage pupils to interact and learn co-operatively with others and engage pupils in learning activities
