About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Catering Assistant / Barista to join our friendly catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service in a busy coffee shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food and beverages to a high standard
- Provide a warm, friendly, and professional service to all customers
- Operate the till and handle payments accurately
- Assist with basic kitchen duties and food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness across kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Monitor stock and keep work areas organised
What We’re Looking For
- GCSE-level education (Maths & English or equivalent)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic food hygiene knowledge
- Flexible approach to working across coffee shop and kitchen
- Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team or independently
